* SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- A 20-year-old resident of the 5600 block of Frankford Ave. was in critical condition at Francis Scott Key Medical Center after being shot several times while standing outside his apartment building shortly after 2 a.m. yesterday. No arrest had been made in the case.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1800 block of E. 31st St. was in the 2900 block of Tivoly Ave. Sunday morning when he was assaulted by a man who robbed him of $40.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking a man who entered his ex-girlfriend's home in the 4600 block of Freedom Way West Sunday and stole a videocassette recorder valued at nearly $400.

* STOLEN CAR: Northeastern District -- A 1987 Hyundai with Maryland tags SNH193 was stolen from the 2700 block of Hugo Ave. between Friday and Sunday.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1984 Toyota with Maryland tags XGC647 was stolen from the 200 block of E. 30th St. !B Sunday night by three men seen entering the car and driving off.

* THEFT: Western District -- A multispeed bike valued at nearly $300 was stolen from the 800 block of Baker St. Sunday night.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 2300 block of Braddish Ave. through a basement window between Saturday and Sunday and stole a VCR, cash and several pieces of jewelry.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- A microwave oven and stereo equipment, all valued at $600, were stolen from a house in the 500 block of N. Calhoun St. Sunday by someone who entered through a rear kitchen window.

* RAPE: Southern District -- A resident of the 300 block of S. Mount St. was abducted by two men Sunday afternoon and driven to a vacant house in the 200 block of S. Calhoun St., where the men assaulted and raped the woman before fleeing. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center for minor injuries.

* ASSAULT: Southern District -- Police were seeking a man who struck a resident of the 2700 block of Marbourne Ave. with a table leg during an argument in the victim's home Sunday.

* ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 2900 block of Norfolk Ave. was in the 2800 block of Hilldale Ave. Sunday evening when he was assaulted by a man who struck him over the head with a brick.


* ROBBERY: Wilkens District -- A gunman robbed the Royal Farm store in the 4000 block of Wilkens Ave. of less than $100 early Monday morning. After purchasing a pack of gum, the man opened his shirt and displayed a gun. He then told the clerk to give him the contents of the cash register.

* ROBBERY: Wilkens District -- A man with a knife robbed the Wade Avenue market in the first block of Wade Ave. Sunday afternoon and escaped with more than $100.

* ROBBERY: Towson District -- A gunman entered Harry Little's carryout in the 6800 block of York Road about 1 a.m. Sunday and took an undisclosed sum of money from the cash register after jumping over the counter. The men escaped on foot.

* ROBBERY: Garrison District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in the 11800 block of Reisterstown Road of an undisclosed sum of money at opening time Sunday. The men entered through a rear door at 10:15 a.m. and ordered employees to kneel on the floor. One of the employees was struck over the head with a gun for no apparent reason. After taking money from an office safe, the men handcuffed the employees to a table before fleeing.

* ROBBERY TRY: Parkville District -- A resident of the first block of Cynthia Terrace was assaulted early Sunday morning at Harford Road and Taylor Avenue after he refused to give up his money to two men who attempted to rob him. The man was not seriously injured.

* BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Police were seeking three boys who entered the Button Jar, a shop in the 3500 block of E. Joppa Road, Sunday night by removing an air conditioner from a window. After leaving the store, the three drove off in a red Ford Festiva. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.

* STOLEN CAR: Parkville District -- A 1988 Jeep with Maryland tags 468429M was stolen from the 9000 block of Waltham Woods Road between Saturday and Sunday.
