* 90-pound division -- The Gambrills Odenton Recreation Council Wildcats started the season on the right foot by defeating the Pasadena Chargers, 20-6, in last weekend's Pasadena Kick-Off Classic.

After falling behind 6-0 early in the first quarter, the Wildcats tied the score later in the period on quarterback Colin Morse's 57-yard touchdown pass to running back Keontae Ballard.

GORC added a second touchdown in the second quarter on a 26-yard run by Ballard. Mike Gregory ran the ball in for the extra point to give the Wildcats a 13-6 halftime lead.

Ballard ran for a 17-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Gregory added the point-after for the final margin.

Ballard had 75 yards and two touchdowns on five carries, and Gregory was the Wildcats' second-leading rusher with 47 yards on seven carries.

Offensive linemen Brian Foley, Brent Sickel, Mike Hines and Sean Smith were credited with a solid blocking effort, and Bob Linkins was cited for his work on defense.
