Warfield Painting gets Farm Museum contract

The Carroll County commissioners have awarded Warfield Painting Inc. of Mount Airy a "time and materials" contract to paint trim and woodwork at the Carroll County Farm Museum.

Richard Soisson, director of Carroll's Recreation and Parks Department, said the county will pay only for the time workers spend on the job and the materials they use.

Mr. Soisson said county officials are uncertain how much painting and related work needs to be done to some of the buildings.

The work is expected to begin this fall.
