Pasadena podiatrist named to state board

Podiatrist Ira Gottlieb has been elected to the executive board of the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Gottlieb has a practice in Pasadena and is affiliated with North Arundel Hospital, Harbor Hospital and Mercy Medical Center.

A Fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons, Dr. Gottlieb is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

Habitat for Humanity names bank executive

Cheryl A. Anderson-Neff has been chosen by Family Nurture Committee of the Arundel Habitat for Humanity as its new chairwoman.

A volunteer with Arundel Habitat for two years, Ms. Anderson-Neff recently served as the Family Nurture Committee's secretary.

Active in local chambers of commerce and a member of Financial Women International, Ms. Anderson-Neff is an executive at Farmers National Bank of Maryland.

Mark Johnson hired as RE/MAX consultant

RE/MAX Central Atlantic Region has hired Mark Johnson as marketing consultant for the Linthicum market.

Mr. Johnson has been with the company through its addition of a Towson office.

Prudential employee completes sales class

B. J. Brokus of the Severna Park office of the Prudential Preferred Properties has recently completed Floyd Wickman's Master's Sales Academy to earn the Mastersales designation.

Timothy Thurtle joins Brown & McCormick

Timothy P. Thurtle is now associated with the law offices of Brown & McCormick in Glen Burnie.

A 1992 graduate of the Washington and Lee University School of Law, Mr. Thurtle recently completed a year as a judicial clerk with Judge Lawrence H. Rushworth of the Circuit Court of Anne Arundel County.

UPS honors employee for 20 years of service

United Parcel Service recently honored Margie Thomas of Lothian for her 20 years of service with the company.

Ms. Thomas, who works in Human Resources for the UPS Safety Department in Baltimore, started with the company in 1973 at its facility in Landover.

Bicehouse selected to coordinate transport

The Annapolis Regional Transportation Management Association has chosen Daniel K. Bicehouse as Rideshare coordinator.
