BALTIMORE CITY

* CARJACKING: Central District -- Several men approached a car stopped for a traffic light at E. Baltimore and St. Paul streets yesterday morning, forced the driver and passenger out and drove the car away. The vehicle was described as a 1991 Saturn with Maryland tag number ZCB-411.

* STOLEN TRUCK: Southeastern District -- A trucker reported the theft of his 1985 tractor rig from the 4900 block of Holabird Ave. The owner parked and secured the tractor Friday. When he returned to the truck Sunday it was gone.

* ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Three men brandishing handguns approached two people in the 5500 block of Wabash Ave. around 2:15 a.m. yesterday and demanded money. One of the victims turned over $140.

* ASSAULT AND ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man displaying a handgun approached a person in the 3300 block of Wylie Ave around 4:20 a.m. yesterday and demanded money. The victim gave the gunman $10.

* STABBING: Eastern District -- A woman was stabbed with a knife Sunday night in the 1200 block of N. Caroline St. after being accused by another woman of slapping her son. The victim was in stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma. Police were writing a warrant for the suspect.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A burglar pried open a rear window of a residence in the 3300 block of The Alameda yesterday and escaped with property worth $89.

* HANDGUN VIOLATION: Northeastern District -- Police responding to a complaint in the 1900 block of E. 28th St. yesterday found a suspect concealing a gun in his front pocket. Ronald Addison, 17, of Morley Street in Southwest Baltimore was charged as an adult with possessing a handgun.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- More than $300 in property, including a vacuum cleaner and French telephone, were among the articles reported stolen from a residence in the 1700 block of E. 32nd St. yesterday.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- A 12-inch Sony television was stolen from a residence in the first block of Elmhurst Road Friday or Saturday.

* STOLEN AUTO: Northern District -- A tan 1993 Mazda was stolen from the 2000 block of N. Howard St. Sunday morning.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* ROBBERY: Parkville District -- A man with a chrome .22-caliber semiautomatic handgun robbed an employee at a Wawa food market in the 8900 block of Old Harford Road of an undisclosed amount of cash about 12:45 a.m. yesterday.

* ATTEMPTED THEFT: Woodlawn District -- Someone damaged three cars at a Ford dealership in the 9300 block of Liberty Road over the weekend in an apparent attempt to steal them. The damaged steering columns and ignitions in a 1993 Ford Probe, a 1993 Ford Escort and a 1993 Ford Mustang at Joe Grimm Ford Inc. were discovered yesterday.

* ASSAULT: Woodlawn District -- A suspected shoplifter kicked a security guard outside a Rite Aid store in the 7000 block of Liberty Road after the guard confronted him about 10:50 a.m. yesterday. The man struggled with the guard before fleeing. He left behind bottles of lotion, which the guard had suspected him of stealing.

* THEFT: Woodlawn District -- A mobile phone, a radar detector, a tool box and a wallet were stolen from a car parked outside a home in the 6700 block of Richardson Ave. between Saturday night and yesterday morning. The property was valued at $1,120.
