Frederick County sheriff's deputies are continuing to examine a Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck found on a farm in Carroll County as they investigate the hit-and-run death of a 22-year-old Liberty Road man.

The truck, which has a shattered windshield, was found on a farm on Keysville Road southwest of Taneytown, according to a spokesman for the sheriff's office.

Investigators would not release the location or the owner's name, saying that he is not a suspect at this time.

LTC Alexander Folger was struck from behind while walking along Old Frederick Road after attending a party nearby early on the morning of Aug. 22.

A newspaper carrier found the body about 5:25 a.m., police said.

Detective Melissa Oland said anyone with information about the hit-and-run accident should call the Frederick County Sheriff's Office at (301) 694-2071.
