Crawdads' 7-run 4th topples Suns, 11-3

HICKORY, N.C. -- The Hickory Crawdads batted 12 men in a seven-run fourth inning and went on to beat the Hagerstown Suns, 11-3, in a Single-A South Atlantic League game last night.

Tom Fordham (4-3) pitched seven innings and got the win for Hickory (25-43). Andy Dolson (10-11) was the losing pitcher for the Suns (38-31).

Tom Evans and Jeff Ladd each had bases-empty home runs for Hagerstown. Santiago Henry went 1-for-4 and extended his hitting streak to 17 games.
