Two men are slain in separate incidents

Two men were shot to death last night in separate incidents and police were seeking two teen-agers in connection with one of the slayings.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m., Northeastern District police responding to a shooting in the 7000 block of McClean Boulevard found Joel Lee, 21, of the 4100 block of Font Hill Drive in Ellicott City, Howard County, bleeding from a gunshot wound to the right side of the head.

The crew of a city fire department later arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Two youths seen running from the scene shortly before police arrived were being sought.

Police knew of no motive for the killing.

At 8 p.m., police responding to an injured man in the 600 block of E. 41st St. found the body of Albert Britton, 31, of no known address, lying in the street.

He had been shot once in the side and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police knew of no motive for his death.

Anyone with information about either slaying is urged to call the homicide squad at 396-2100.
