BALTIMORE CITY

* ABDUCTION/ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1100 block of Red Lion Road in White Marsh, Baltimore County, was forced into her car in the 1700 block of E. Northern Parkway Tuesday night by a man who placed a sharp object against her back. After the woman was driven around the area, the man robbed her of cash and jewelry, all valued at more than $300, before escaping on foot.

* THEFT: Central District -- A man entered a house in the 900 block of Brooks Lane late Wednesday night and stole a VCR valued at nearly $400.

* THEFT: Central District -- Two security cameras were stolen from a high-rise apartment building at the George B. Murphy Homes in the 900 block of Argyle Ave. Wednesday. The cameras were valued at $600.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Eastern District -- A man was arrested early Wednesday morning after leaving the Pharoah's Club in the 1800 block of N. Collington Ave. carrying a 19-inch TV set and four bottles of liquor, all valued at nearly $250. Police said the man entered the nightspot after climbing a wall.

* BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of N. Duncan St. through a first-floor window Wednesday and stole $150, a microwave oven, 13-inch TV set, a VCR and 70 VCR tapes, all valued at nearly $1,100.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- A TV set, VCR and a radio, all valued at nearly $700, were stolen from a house in the 1600 block of Warwick Ave. between Tuesday and Wednesday. Police were seeking two women seen entering through the front door.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- While the occupant of a house in the 60 block of N. Payson St. was sleeping Wednesday, someone entered the house through an open door and stole $80.

* ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2000 block of Dukeland St. was in the 2800 block of Walbrook Ave. Wednesday when a man struck him in the right arm with a large-caliber semiautomatic handgun.

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- A multi-speed bike valued at $300 was stolen Wednesday from the back yard of a house in the 2600 block of Eagle St.

* ROBBERY TRY/STABBING: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5700 block of Narcissus Ave. was walking in the 4000 block of Derby Manor Drive Tuesday night when a man attempted to steal her purse. When the woman struggled and resisted, the man stabbed her in the abdomen. The man escaped without stealing the purse, and the victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4100 block of Belvieu Ave. was walking near her home early Wednesday morning when a man grabbed her around the neck and robbed her of an undisclosed sum of money.

* ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who pointed a handgun at a resident of the 2800 block of Damascus Court at her home Wednesday and threatened to shoot her. The woman was not injured.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3100 block of Oakford Ave. was removing money from a 24-hour automated teller machine in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. about noon Wednesday when a man robbed her of the money. The man escaped with $100.

* ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3800 block of Lewin Ave. was in the 3600 block of Woodland Ave. Wednesday night when he was attacked by a man who struck him with a length of wood. The victim was treated at the Liberty Medical Center.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* BURGLARY: North Point District -- Someone entered Tony's pizza in the first block of Wise Ave. Wednesday through a roof vent and stole an undisclosed sum of money from a cash register and a safe.

* BURGLARY: Towson District -- Property of unknown value was stolen from a house in the 6700 block of Collinsdale Road Wednesday by someone who entered through a rear window and ransacked several rooms.

* ROBBERY: Towson District -- A man with a small-caliber handgun robbed the Royal Farm store in the 6000 block of Falls Road of an undisclosed sum of cash early Thursday morning. Before fleeing the store and driving away in a brown Mazda or Honda, the gunman robbed a newspaper deliveryman of his money.
