Scott Bethea's ninth-inning suicide squeeze scored Boo Moore and lifted the New Britain Red Sox over the visiting Bowie Baysox, 3-2, in Double-A Eastern League action last night.

With a tie score and one out, Moore got on and advanced on a throwing error and a fielding error, respectively, to set up the game-winning play. The Baysox led 2-0 after the second inning before New Britain strung together single runs in the fourth and fifth.

Peter Hoy (9-3) went two-thirds of an inning and struck out one for the win. Dave Paveloff (4-3) pitched one-third inning for the loss.
