Immunization clinics planned at high schools

The Howard County Health Department will conduct three free immunization clinics at area high schools during September. All childhood shots will be offered at the clinics.

A record of a child's previous immunizations must be brought to the clinic. A parent's consent is also required.

If a parent or legal guardian can't be present, he or she can give oral or written authority for another adult to bring in their child for the shots.

The first clinic will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow at Oakland Mills High School, 9410 Kilimanjaro Road in Columbia.

Centennial High School, 4300 Centennial Lane, Ellicott City, will host the second immunization clinic from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 15.

The final clinic is planned for 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at Atholton High School, 6250 Freetown Road, Columbia.

Information: 313-7500, 313-2333 or 880-5888.
