POLICE LOG

*Ellicott City: 4900 block of Dorsey Hall Drive: A car phone was stolen from a Jeep Aug. 22 or Aug. 23.

9400 block of Tiller Drive: Someone broke the right side widow of a Toyota 4-Runner on Aug. 22 or early Aug. 23. No entry was made, police said.

9700 block of Starling Road: Police responded to a residence on Aug. 22 when a woman said she saw a would-be thief looking into her 1987 Dodge. She said the suspicious man also peered into other vehicles parked in the area. The suspect was gone when police arrived.

2600 block of Orchard Ave.: Someone vandalized a 1991 Eagle Talon Aug. 23 or Aug. 24, slashing all four tires of the vehicle.

4700 block of Dorsey Hall Drive: The side window of a 1993 Isuzu Rodeo was broken on Aug. 23, but nothing was taken, police said.

*Elkridge: 7600 block of Stony Creek Lane: A stereo and equalizer system valued at $200 was stolen from a 1990 Ford Mustang late Aug. 23 or early last Tuesday. The thief broke a side window to gain entry, police said.
