BALTIMORE CITY

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 5100 block of Goodnow Road between Saturday and Sunday and stole tools, an amplifier and a stereo speaker, all valued at nearly $600.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- Property valued at nearly $1,000 was stolen from a car parked in the 1100 block of E. Cold Spring Lane over the weekend.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A lawn mower valued at nearly $200 was stolen from a house in the 1200 block of Cedarcroft Road between Thursday and Sunday.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed an out-of-town man of $30 in the 6500 block of Frankford Ave. Sunday night.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5300 block of Bosworth Ave. was in the 5000 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. Sunday night when two men robbed him of a small sum of money.

* ROBBERY: Central District -- Two women, one from the 8100 block of Glen Gary Road in Baltimore County and the other from the 1500 block of E. 28th St., were in the 1800 block of Eutaw Place Sunday night when a gunman robbed them of their cash and jewelry, all valued at more than $1,100.

* SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 2000 block of Linden Ave. was walking down an alley in the rear of the 1800 block of N. Pulaski St. Sunday night when a gunman fired four shots at him. At least two bullets struck the man in the buttocks. He was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center and admitted in fair condition.

* SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 5500 block of Gwyndale Ave. was walking in the 1700 block of Werwick Ave. late Sunday night when the occupant of a passing yellow car fired at least five shots, striking the victim in the right leg. Two bullets hit two parked cars. The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center.

* ROBBERY/ARREST: Southern District -- A resident of the 2900 block of Belmont Ave. was walking in the 900 block of W. Patapsco Ave. with another man Sunday afternoon when he was struck several times and robbed of $40. Later, police arrested a suspect in the case and were holding him at the station pending assault and robbery charges.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A couple, a man from the 1100 block of Park Ave. and a woman from the 300 block of Lord Byron Lane in Baltimore County, were in the 2800 block of Baker St. Sunday when a man with a knife robbed the man of cash and property, all valued at $200, and robbed the woman of $53.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* THEFT TRY: Towson District -- Someone attempted to steal a 1987 Hyundai Excel from the 6600 block of English Oak Road Sunday morning by popping the ignition but failed to start the car.

* THEFT TRY: Towson District -- The ignition of a 1991 Plymouth parked in the first block of Dowling Circle was forced by someone who attempted to steal it over the weekend.

* ROBBERY: Garrison District -- A gunman forced his way into the cashier booth at the Amoco service station in the 8700 block of Liberty Road about 7:20 p.m. Sunday and forced the employee to give up an undisclosed sum of money from the cash register. The gunman also robbed the cashier of his jewelry and a paper bag containing his lunch, a steak and cheese sandwich and french fries.

* BURGLARY: Garrison District -- Someone entered a house in the 7000 block of Campfield Road over the weekend and stole a compact disc player and a bottle of vodka.

* ROBBERY: Wilkens District -- A resident of the 600 block of Charraway Road was walking in the 4200 block of Wilkens Ave. Sunday evening when a man stole her purse containing an undisclosed sum of money.

* BURGLARY: Wilkens District -- Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of Westchester Ave. over the weekend and stole property of unknown value.

* BURGLARY: Wilkens District -- Property of unknown value was stolen from a house in the 4900 block of Leeds Ave. between Aug. 21 and Sunday by someone who entered by damaging a rear door. The door was valued at $300.

* BURGLARY: Wilkens District -- Someone entered a garage in the first block of Trotting Horse Court Sunday and stole a power lawn mower valued at nearly $300.
