Brooklyn Park man mugged for wallet

A Brooklyn Park man was robbed of his wallet outside a grocery store Thursday, county police reported.

According to the police report, the man was in the parking lot of the Basics store at the intersection of Ritchie Highway and 16th Avenue at 6 p.m., when a gunman approached and threatened him.

The gunman took the man's money and left in a white four-door car.

The victim was not injured.
