ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two men tried to rob a 23-year-old woman in the 3100 block of St. Paul St. early yesterday. They pushed the woman to the ground, found no money on her and ran north on St. Paul.

ARSON: Northern District -- Someone ignited a flammable liquid in the basement of a house in the 2800 block of Guilford Ave.

LARCENY: Southern District -- A man snatched a purse that a woman had put on the roof of her vehicle at a gas station in the 3800 block of S. Hanover St. The purse contained about $30.

AUTO THEFT: Northeastern District -- A 1989 brown Buick with Maryland tags TSY 232 was stolen about 3:10 a.m. yesterday from the 1500 block of Roundhill Road.

SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- Larry Morris, 37, of the 5000 block of Chalgrove Ave., was shot once in the back at 12:20 a.m. yesterday by an unknown man in the 3100 block of Spaulding Ave., in Pimlico. He was listed in serious condition at Sinai Hospital.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Items valued at more tha $1,100 were stolen from a house in the 4000 block of Ayrdale Ave. between 6:30 and 10:15 p.m. Saturday by someone who entered by a side window.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Two unidentified males robbed a Diamond Cab driver of $135 at gunpoint yesterday. The incident occurred at 12:30 a.m. at the 500 block of N. Warwick Ave.

SHOOTING: Central District -- Troy Stevenson, 25, of the 500 block of La Salle Ave., was shot in the wrist while standing in the 1900 block of N. Hilton St. at 4 p.m. yesterday. Police said the assailant's identity was not known.

SHOOTING: Eastern District -- Frank Hill, 45, of Fayette Street, was shot once by an unidentified male in the 800 block of `D Bradford St. about 12:20 p.m. yesterday. He was listed in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

SHOOTING: Eastern District -- Anthony Price, 29, of the 170 block of Objakett Court, was shot in the left ankle, stomach and twice in each leg at the 1600 block of E. Preston St. about 1:30 a.m. yesterday. Police said they knew of no suspect. Authorities said he was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: North Point District -- A man robbed the First National Bank of Maryland at 1115 Merritt Blvd. of $6,000 Friday at 7:30 p.m. Entering shortly before closing, the man gave the teller a note demanding money in $20 bills and pointed a round, black object wrapped in a shirt. He stuffed the money in a green duffel bag and left through a rear door. The suspect was described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing yellow shorts, a flowered blue shirt and a Florida Marlins baseball cap.

GRAND THEFT: Wilkens District -- Someone stole a motorcycle valued at $3,700 from the 1100 block of Ingate Road early Saturday.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Cockeysville District -- A man punched a Domino's Pizza deliverywoman in the face at the corner of Rossbrooke Circle and Cranbrook Road early Saturday. The woman drove off, and nothing was taken.
