Here's information you'll need if you have a child enrolled in Baltimore County Schools:

Projected 1993-94 enrollment: 95,800 (up 2,600 from last year) in 148 schools. Seven new magnet high school programs will open this fall. In addition to half-day kindergartens in all elementary schools, there will be full-day kindergarten programs in 30 schools and prekindergarten classes in 64 schools.

First day for students: Sept. 7

First day for teachers: Aug. 31

Winter vacation: Dec. 24 - Jan. 2

Spring break: March 28 - April 4

Last day of school: June 17

Report cards distributed: Nov. 22, Feb. 4, April 22 and June 17.

Standardized test dates: Maryland School Performance Assessment Program: May 9-20 for Grades three, five and eight; specific schedule determined by school. Maryland Functional Tests: Grades nine-12, Math Oct. 12; Reading, Oct. 19; Writing, Jan. 11-12; Citizenship, Feb. 1. Seventh-Grade Reading, April 19; Seventh-Grade Math, April 26.

Lunch prices: $1.45 in elementary school, $1.55 in secondary schools.

Breakfast prices: $1 in elementary school, $1.10 in secondary schools.

Immunizations required: diphtheria-pertussis-tetanus, polio, measles, rubella (German measles) and mumps.

Board of Education meetings: First and third Tuesdays of each month.
