Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1600 block of N. Montford Ave. was in the 5700 block of Pulaski Highway around 3 a.m. Tuesday when two men stole her purse. After the men looked through the purse seeking money or jewelry and found none, they threw the purse to the ground and fled.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Someone entered Follicle's beauty shop in the 2000 block of Belair Road Tuesday and stole an AM-FM radio, two telephones and a telephone answering machine. Later, police arrested a suspect in the burglary and were holding him at the station pending charges and a bail hearing.

CARJACKING: Southern District -- While a resident of the 600 block of Maude Ave. in Brooklyn was washing his 1990 Pontiac at a self-serve car wash in the 800 block of W. Patapsco Ave.

Tuesday night, two men pushed him aside and stole the car. The car's license number was not immediately available.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Police were seeking a red pickup truck in connection with the robbery Tuesday night of a female resident of the 7900 block of Oakwood Road. The victim was hitchhiking in the 3200 block of Hollins Ferry Road around 9 p.m. when the vehicle stopped. A short distance down the road, the man stopped the truck, robbed the woman of her purse and shoved her out of the vehicle.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A driver for the Yellow cab company was in the 200 block of S. Mount St. early Tuesday morning when one of two passengers he picked up earlier pulled out a sawed-off shotgun and robbed him of $70.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 3800 block of 3rd St. in Brooklyn was walking in the 3800 block of S. Hanover St. around 7 a.m. Tuesday when a man threw him to the pavement and robbed him of nearly $200.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 900 block of Lemmon St. was talking on an outside telephone in the 1200 block of W. Pratt St. around 8 p.m. Tuesday when a man stole his $300 bicycle.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A woman was walking near her home in the 100 block of S. Payson St. Tuesday night when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $300.

STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A 1992 Hyundai owned by a resident of the 900 block of N. Fulton Ave. was stolen Monday from the 1200 block of N. Bentalou St.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man in the 800 block of W. Baltimore St. early Monday morning when they saw him walking down the street carrying a parking meter. The meter, valued at more than $400, was stolen from its post a short distance from where the man was arrested.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 700 block of Cumberland St. Tuesday and stole $80. A woman seen leaving the house is being sought.

THEFT: Western District -- Property valued at $200 was stolen from a house in the 1700 block of N. Gilmor St. Tuesday.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 3500 block of Woodbrook Ave. was attacked near his home Tuesday afternoon by a man he knows who struck him several times with a metal pipe. The victim was not seriously injured and the other man is being sought.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 500 block of N. Pulaski St. was walking near his home Tuesday morning when he was attacked by two men who robbed him of $300.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A driver for the Royal cab company was in the 1600 block of N. Schroeder St. Tuesday when a man he picked up earlier pulled out a handgun and robbed him of more than $40.

Baltimore County

STABBING: Woodlawn District -- Police were seeking three men in connection with the stabbing Tuesday night of a resident of the Woodstock Center in the 10900 block of Old Court Road. The stabbing occurred on the property. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was admitted in serious condition with a wound to the back. The suspects fled the scene in a blue station wagon. Police knew of no motive for the stabbing.

CARJACKING TRY: Woodlawn District -- A woman was seated in her car in the 8600 block of Liberty Road around 11 p.m. Tuesday and was waiting for her daughter to leave a pizza shop when two men, one with a shotgun, attempted to force the woman from her car. The woman drove off, causing the men to flee. Moments later, the woman returned to the pizza shop, picked up her daughter and reported the incident to police.

ROBBERY: White Marsh District -- Two men, one with a metal pipe, assaulted a man walking across a bridge at Middle River Road above Philadelphia Road Tuesday night and robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money.
