Baltimore man arrested in bank robbery

Federal authorities have arrested a Baltimore man in connection with a robbery of the Household Bank in Glen Burnie Monday afternoon.

William Keith Snead of the 600 block of Cheratin Road has been charged in the robbery, but FBI officials could not provide details about the charges or the suspect's age.

Police said a man walked into the bank in the first block of Ordnance Road at 2:25 p.m. and gave the teller a note, written on a deposit slip, demanding $1,000.

After the clerk handed over the money, the robber ran out of the bank.

Police said the man did not take out a gun but put his hand in his waistband as if he had one.

A man matching the description given by the teller was arrested a few minutes later near the bank, police said.
