Baltimore City

CARJACKING: Northeastern District -- A man with a knife robbed a driver for the Royal Cab company of his cab and money in the 4300 block of Shamrock Ave. early yesterday morning. The cab, No. 694, was still missing several hours later.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A gunman robbed the High's dairy store in the 6600 block of Belair Road Monday night of $50.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2600 block of Kennedy Ave. was walking near her home Monday afternoon when a man stole her purse containing a small sum of money.

CAB HOLDUP: Northeastern District -- Two men robbed a driver for the Royal Cab company of $80 Sunday in the 5100 block of Conant Way.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 5200 block of Frankford Ave. Sunday and stole $90 from a bedroom.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 5700 block of Beechdale Ave. was robbed of money and property, all valued at more than $1,500, Sunday night by two men, one with a handgun, after he answered a knock at the door.

ASSAULT: Southeastern District -- During an argument in the 2900 block of E. Baltimore St. Sunday, a man struck a woman several times with a shovel. The man was arrested. The woman, a resident of the E. Baltimore St. address, was not seriously injured.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 100 block of S. Ann St. was riding his bike near his home Monday afternoon when a man with a knife robbed him of the bike, valued at $100.

THEFT/ARREST: Southeastern District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave the Food Place market in the 3800 block of Eastern Ave. Monday without paying for several tubes of toothpaste.

ABDUCTION/RAPE: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking two men who abducted a resident of the 5500 block of Cadillac Ave. from the 5700 block of Wabash Ave. over the weekend and raped her at gunpoint.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A VCR, watch and computer equipment, all valued at $1,600, were stolen from a house in the 4800 block of Wilern Ave. Monday.

SHOOTINGS: Western District -- Two men standing in the 2800 block of Winchester St. late Monday night were shot by a lone gunman. Both men, a resident of the 2800 block of Walbrook Ave. and another from the 1800 block of Braddish Ave., were treated at the Liberty Medical Center and released.

RAPE: Western District -- A resident of the 1900 block of N. Payson St. was in the 2300 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. Sunday night when a man forced her behind a building and raped her. The man escaped and the woman was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment and released.

ROBBERY/ARRESTS: Western District -- Police arrested two men in the $30 unarmed robbery Monday morning of a 59-year-old resident of the first block of N. Vincent St. near his home.

THEFT: Western District -- More than a dozen cartons of cigarettes, valued at more than $200, were stolen from a truck owned by F. A. Davis & Co. in the 100 block of S. Paca St. while

it was parked in the 1500 block of N. Fulton Ave.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Lorman St. was involved in an altercation with another man near his home Monday when he was struck in the head with a large metal ashtray. The victim sustained a 2-inch laceration but refused medical treatment. A suspect was arrested and is being held at the station pending charges and a bail hearing.

Baltimore County

THEFT: White Marsh District -- Tools and equipment were stolen from the Long Fence Co. in the 9800 block of Philadelphia Road over the weekend by someone who entered the property by climbing over a fence.

BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone entered a construction company trailer in the 1000 block of Lakeside Drive through a window between Friday and Monday and stole a telephone, clock-radio, jacket, a level and a lock, all valued at more than $200.

ROBBERY: Towson District -- Two men with handguns robbed Chuck E Cheese's pizza shop in the 800 block of Goucher Blvd. near closing time Sunday night of an undisclosed sum of money. After locking nearly a dozen employees inside a walk-in freezer, the gunmen forced an employee to open at least one cash register before escaping on foot.

STOLEN CAR: Cockeysville District -- A 1985 Chevrolet Cavalier with Maryland tags ZVP447 was stolen Monday from the 2100 block of York Road in Timonium.

ROBBERY: Cockeysville District -- Shortly after a woman entered The Country's Best Yogurt in the 2000 block of York Road around noon Monday and left, a man carrying a shopping bag entered. When the man approached the counter, he pulled a blue steel revolver from the bag and ordered the female employee to give him money from the cash register. The gunman and the woman escaped with an undisclosed sum.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- A heat pump valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from a house under construction in the 6500 block of Country Brook Way in Timonium.
