Police seeking mugger of Columbia man, 81

Howard County police are looking for a man who strong-armed an 81-year-old Columbia man Saturday and took his wallet.

The victim, who had just returned from the Harpers Choice Village Center, was entering his apartment in the 5400 block of Old Tucker Row Saturday afternoon when the man pushed him from behind and grabbed his wallet, police said.

The elderly man was not injured. The robber -- identified as a black male, about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds -- was last seen in the parking lot in front of the apartment building, police said.
