BOYERTOWN, PA — BOYERTOWN, Pa. -- Mayo Post 226 lost its first game of the Mid-Atlantic Regional tournament last night, 3-2, to Hamilton Legion.

Mayo plays Wilmington Post 1 today at 4 p.m. as the Wildcats will try to make their way through the losers' bracket.

Mayo took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, when Tim Giles singled to drive in Wade Rolocut.

Poor defense by the Wildcats in the bottom of the first helped Hamilton score twice. The New Jersey squad increased its lead to 3-1 in the second.

Jeff Hedrick pulled Mayo within one in the seventh with a home run to left.
