Police seeking three suspects in Hampstead store robbery

Hampstead police have two suspects in their investigation of the armed robbery July 21 of the Hampstead Weis Market, Police Chief Kenneth Russell says.

"At this time we do have two very good suspects, and we're trying to get an ID on a third," he said.

He said Baltimore city police are assisting in the investigation.

"We're trying to get a composite drawn up now of the one that actually had the gun," Chief Russell said.

No one was injured in the robbery. About $4,500 in cash was stolen from the supermarket in the Roberts Field Shopping Center.
