Murder suspects to seek bail review

August 19, 1993

The two teen-agers charged in the fatal stabbing of a Westminster couple last month are expected to ask a Carroll District judge to review their no-bail status.

Sara E. Citroni, 17, of Reisterstown, is scheduled to appear in District Court tomorrow, said her attorney, Assistant Public Defender Brian Green.

Jason Aaron DeLong, 19, of Westminster, is to appear for a bail review on Aug. 24, court records say.

Both suspects have been held

without bond since they were extradited from Florida Aug. 5 on charges tied to the killings of George W. Wahl, 35, and Cathryn Brace Farrar, 39, on July 29.

Ms. Farrar was Mr. DeLong's mother, and Mr. Wahl was a brother-in-law to Carroll State's Attorney Thomas E. Hickman.

Both teen-agers are charged with two counts each of first- and second-degree murder and other lesser counts.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant State's Attorney Timothy J. Doory of Baltimore.
