* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered Harry Little's pizza shop in the 400 block of E. 32nd St. Monday night after breaking a window. It was not immediately known if any property was taken. Witnesses saw a man leaving the business and gave police his description.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- An 11-year-old resident of the 600 block of Berry St. was riding his bike in the 3400 block of Keswick Road Tuesday morning when a man who implied he had a handgun forced the child off the bike and stole it. The bike was valued at more than $100.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A man armed with an unknown weapon robbed a resident of the 700 block of McCabe Ave. of $100 Tuesday afternoon after the victim withdrew the money from a teller machine in the 5600 block of The Alameda.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1700 block of W. Lexington St. was near his home Tuesday evening when one of several youths struck him in the back of the head with a piece of watermelon. The man was then knocked to the pavement and robbed of $25.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2800 block of Elgin Ave. was walking home from shopping Monday night and was in the 2500 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway when a gunman robbed her of items she purchased that were valued at more than $120.

* ASSAULT: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, fired several shots at a resident of the 3400 block of Holmes Ave. in the 1600 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway Monday night. Police said the incident was drug-related and that the victim was not wounded. The gunman and his accomplice escaped.

* BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone entered an apartment in the 2500 block of Brookfield Ave. through an unlocked window Tuesday and stole a stereo receiver and a cassette player, all valued at $800.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- Nearly 30 feet of copper sheeting was stolen from a truck owned by John Cole & Son in the 5700 block of Belair Road while the truck was parked on the company's property between Saturday and Monday.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- A bronze vase, valued at $40, was stolen from a grave at the Parkwood Cemetery in the 3300 block of Taylor Ave. The theft was discovered Tuesday afternoon when a daughter visited her father's grave Tuesday.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone stole a tire and wheel from a 1987 Maxima parked in the 5800 block of Cedonia Ave. between Sunday and Monday.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- A man entered the Rite Aid pharmacy at the Northwood Shopping Center in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road Tuesday and left without paying for several tubes of toothpaste valued at more than $14.

* STOLEN CAR: Northeastern District -- A 1981 Toyota with Maryland tags ZXG804 was stolen from the 4200 block of Brehms Lane Tuesday.

* ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking a man who struck a resident of the 2000 block of Odell Ave. several times on the head with a broom handle during an incident inside the victim's home Tuesday. The suspect is known to the victim.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 4300 block of Belair Road through a door between Monday and Tuesday and stole $100.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Several pieces of jewelry, a VCR, compact disc player and a TV set, all valued at nearly $9,000, were stolen from a house in the 4100 block of Wilke Ave. Tuesday by someone who entered through a front window.


* ASSAULT: Essex District -- An unidentified man is listed in serious condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being struck several times with a baseball bat during an altercation on Shipfriend Road at the Maplecrest Apartments early Wednesday morning. The incident began inside an apartment then continued outside, where the victim, in his 30s, was found bleeding from the head. No arrests had been made.

* ROBBERY: Garrison District -- A 31-year-old resident of the 4600 block of Old Court Road was getting out of his car on a parking lot in the 8600 block of Liberty Road Tuesday afternoon when a man placed a hard object in his back and demanded his money. After robbing the victim of hs wallet and about $200, the man fled on foot toward the Pizza Hut restaurant.
