Baltimore City

ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 3800 block of Cranston Road was in the 100 block of S. Calverton Road Sunday night when a man cut her with a knife. The victim was not seriously injured.

STOLEN CAR: Southwestern District -- A 1977 Chevrolet Suburban with Maryland tags ZXG826 was stolen from the 3200 block of James St. between Friday and Monday.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- In the 300 block of Lyndhurst St. Sunday night, a gunman robbed a resident of the 3800 block of Gelston Drive of $20.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- Two motorcycle helmets worth a total of $400 were stolen from a house in the 2600 block of Washington Boulevard Sunday.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered D&J's store in the 1700 block of S. Hanover St. between Sunday night and Monday morning through a hole in the wall of an adjoining building and stole food products of unknown value.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 900 block of Cherry Hill Road was in the 2900 block of Waterview Ave. Monday afternoon when he was attacked by two men who struck him with sticks and robbed him of a pair of tennis shoes valued at $40.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Building materials, two ladders, a saw and a window, all valued at $800, were stolen from a house in the 1100 block of W. Pratt St. between Sunday and Monday by someone who entered through a first-floor window.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 100 block of S. Schroeder St. was in the 100 block of S. Stricker St. Monday night when a man with a knife robbed him of $3.

PURSE SNATCH: Western District -- An out-of-town resident was walking in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Sunday night when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $60.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police arrested a woman and were holding her pending charges that she struck a resident of the 1200 block of W. North Ave. with a lead pipe during an incident in the 2300 block of Druid Hill Ave. Sunday night. The victim was not seriously injured.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 900 block of N. Stricker St. was sitting on the front steps of a house in the 500 block of N. Mount St. Sunday night when a gunman walked up to him and fired several shots, hitting the man in the arm. Police said a second man in a nearby playground was struck in the ankle by one of several stray bullets. The gunman escaped and both wounded men were taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center, where they were treated.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police were seeking a man named "Keith" who robbed a resident of the 5400 block of Fairlawn Ave. of his bike in the 2000 block of W. North Ave. Monday morning after firing two shots at the victim. The victim was not injured. The bike was valued at more than $200.

BTC BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered the Frederick Douglass Apartments in the 1600 block of N. Calhoun St. over the past several days and stole five gallons of paint, floor tiles and other property.

THEFT: Western District -- Several cases of cigarettes were stolen from a truck owned by B&B Cigarettes while it was parked in the 1200 block of N. Calhoun St. Monday morning. The cigarettes were valued at more than $1,500.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. early Monday after removing a screen from a rear window and stole two VCRs and a carpenter's square, all valued at nearly $800.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Eastern District -- Police arrested a 27-year-old woman and were holding her in connection with an incident Sunday in which a gun was pointed at a resident of the 700 block of Mello Court.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 700 block of Warren Road in Baltimore County was in the 700 block of N. Central Ave. Sunday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of a gold ring, a diamond ring and a wallet.

BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Eastern District -- Police arrested two girls, ages 10 and 13, and were seeking two other children in connection with the burglary Sunday night of a Farm Fresh store in the 900 block of N. Central Ave. Police said that four children entered the store after closing time Sunday night after breaking the front window with a shopping cart. Once inside, they stole school supplies and groceries. The two arrested girls were released to the custody of their parents.

ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 900 block of N. Broadway was robbed of his wallet and more than $300 Sunday night by a man who assaulted him near his home.

BURGLARY: Eastern District -- Police were seeking a man named "Rudy" who entered a house in the 1000 block of N. Chapel St. through the front door Sunday and stole a 13-inch TV, an iron and a window fan.

THEFT: Eastern District -- A cellular car phone valued at $800 was stolen from a car parked in the 1900 block of Edison Highway Monday.
