POLICE

* Westminster: Charles Dukehart told police someone stole several signs Thursday from his car wash on Railroad Avenue. The loss is estimated at $250.

FIRE

* Westminster: Engines from Pleasant Valley and Westminster were dispatched to a minor kitchen fire on Yorkminster Court at 3:12 p.m. yesterday. They were back in service in an hour.

* Pleasant Valley: Equipment from Pleasant Valley and Westminster extinguished an auto fire on Old Taneytown Road within half an hour after being called out at 10:11 a.m. yesterday.

* Pleasant Valley: Engines from Pleasant Valley and Westminster were dispatched to investigate a fire alarm sounding in a building on Littlestown Pike at 4:05 p.m. Sunday. Units were out for 18 minutes.

* Westminster: Westminster engines responded for an auto fire on East Main Street at 5:08 p.m. Saturday. They were out for one hour.
