HARFORD COUNTY — Crime Solvers offers reward in car theft

Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for the arrest and indictment of those responsible for the Aug. 4 auto theft in the 1300 block of Clover Valley Way in Woodbridge Center near Pulaski Highway and Route 152.

Police described the stolen vehicle as a bronze 1990 Honda Accord LX worth $12,000 and bearing Maryland license tag AAX-235.

Anyone with information about the incident should call the Crime Solvers hot line (410) 877-STOP. Callers need not give their names or appear in court.

Aberdeen police arrest 2 men on drug charges

Acting on a tip from a town resident Wednesday evening, Aberdeen police went to Warren Street and U.S. 40 about 7:15.

After questioning individuals there, police arrested Shedrick L. Willis, 24, of Havre de Grace and Wayne A. Bowser, 35, of Aberdeen.

Mr. Willis was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.

He was freed on a $5,000 bond.

Mr. Bowser was charged with possession of drug paraphernaliand released on his own recognizance.

An undisclosed quantity of crack cocaine was seized, police said.

VCR, clothing, papers taken during break-in

Havre de Grace man reported that someone had broken into his home between 2 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 5, stealing various items worth about $700.

Police said items taken included a videocassette recorder, leather jacket, men's clothing, and personal papers.

A telephone cord and kitchen window, worth $50, also were damaged.

* 200 block of Bush Chapel Road: Damage to fence and theft of horse leads and horse blanket on Aug. 5. Loss was valued at $280.

Bel Air

* 2200 block of Churchville Road: Damage to door at snowball stand on Aug. 5. Theft of plastic spoons and snowball flavoring. Loss was valued at $284.

Belcamp

2& * 1300 block of Riverside Parkway:

Vandalism at a supermarket on Aug. 5. Signs, trash bin, brick wall and building spray painted. Damage was valued at $330.

Darlington

* 2000 block Glen Cove Road: Damage to church by arson oAug. 7. Loss was valued at $5,066.

Edgewood

* 1400 block of Harford Square Drive: Theft of two bicycles froresidential property on Aug. 3. One bicycle was later recovered. Loss was valued at $210.
