BALTIMORE CITY

* STABBING: Central District -- A resident of the 800 block of Druid Park Lake Drive was standing in line at a service station in the 1000 block of W. North Ave. Wednesday night when he became involved in a verbal exchange with a man who cursed him. When the victim turned away, the other man pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the chest. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center and is listed in serious but stable condition. No arrest had been made.

* THEFT: Central District -- Someone entered a car parked in the first block of W. Trenton St. between Wednesday and yesterday and stole stereo speakers valued at nearly $200.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 3000 block of Brendan Ave. was walking near his home Wednesday morning when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $300.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 4400 block of Kavon Ave. of money, jewelry and cigarettes, all valued at $200, near his home Wednesday afternoon.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the first block of S. Carrollton Ave. was in the 900 block of W. Baltimore St. Tuesday when he was attacked by two men who beat him with their fists and a length of pipe before robbing him of $18. The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment and released.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A deliveryman for Triple C Wholesalers in the 2700 block of Loch Raven Blvd. was in the 1700 block of W. Lanvale St. Wednesday morning when he was struck over the head by a man who robbed him of cash and cigarettes, all valued at nearly $300.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Reisterstown Road had just cashed a check at a check cashing firm in the 1600 block of W. North Ave. Wednesday evening when a man standing in line pulled out a handgun and robbed her of nearly $400

and $10 in Lottery tickets. Police learned the man's identity and were seeking him.

* ROBBERY: Southern District -- An out-of-town resident was in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road Tuesday night when a gunman robbed him of $100.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered Ray V. Watson & Co. in the 3100 block of Falls Cliff Road by breaking a window between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole $20 from an office desk.

* ABDUCTION/RAPE: Northern District -- A resident of the 5500 block of Normandy Place Road reported that she was in the 2500 block of N. Charles St. Tuesday afternoon when a man forced her into her car and ordered her to drive to Pennsylvania. At an unknown location there, the man raped the woman and then ordered her to drive him back to the city, where she withdrew more than $200 from a 24-hour bank machine and gave it to the man.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- A VCR, a 35-mm camera, a vacuum cleaner and a cassette player, all valued at nearly $500, were stolen from a house in the 2700 block of Virginia Ave. Wednesday morning by someone who entered through a rear kitchen door.

* RAPE: Northern District -- A resident of the 4200 block of St. George's Ave. was walking home in the 5400 block of Northwood Road about 4 a.m. Wednesday when two men pulled her into some bushes and raped her. After the attack, the men drove off in a Chevrolet Corvette. Police said the victim walked home, fell asleep and reported the incident when she awoke several hours later.

* STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Someone stole a 1988 Jeep Cherokee with Maryland tags 258575M from the 300 block of Tunbridge Road between Tuesday and Wednesday.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 500 block of Hollen Road was in the 5300 block of York Road Wednesday afternoon when a man who implied he had a handgun reached into his pockets and stole $60 and a credit card.

A 1987 Buick with Maryland tags 047AHZ was stolen from the parking lot of the Rotunda Mall in the 700 block of W. 40th St. Wednesday.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of (( the 3200 block of The Alameda of $20 and a pack of cigarettes in the 500 block of E. 25th St. Wednesday.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered the Baltimore Street Car Museum in the 2700 block of Falls Road through a roll-up door Wednesday, then fled when the burglar alarm went off. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- A vending machine was damaged by someone who entered the Potts & Callahan construction company in the 2800 block of Falls Road through a door between Tuesday and Wednesday.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 200 block of E. 30th St. through a window between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole a VCR and cash, all valued at more than $500.

* ASSAULT & ROBBERY: Northern District -- During an argument between two cab drivers in the 2600 block of Barclay St. early Wednesday morning over a fare, a driver for the Royal Cab company in the 2500 block of W. Lexington St. was attacked by several friends of the other cabbie and struck in the face with an iron rod. While the injured cabbie was lying on the ground, one of the men robbed him of his money. The injured cabbie was taken to Union Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries to his eyes, mouth and nose.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* ROBBERY: North Point District -- Three men, one with a handgun and another with a knife, robbed the House of Phung, a restaurant in the 7700 block of Westfield Road, of an undisclosed sum of money before forcing at least one employee into a walk-in ZTC freezer. The employee exited the freezer moments later and called the police.
