Baltimore City

ARRESTS: Southeastern District -- Police arrested two men early Tuesday and were holding them in connection with setting off at least one pipe bomb in the Fells Point area. The bomb was detonated on Lancaster Street and damaged a parked car. A second pipe bomb was found intact on South Caroline Street and was defused. A third bomb was found in the suspects' car when police pulled them over in the area. Police said the bombs were each about 8-10 inches long, more than an inch in diameter and had fuses attached to their tops. Its believed they were filled with gunpowder.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A Baltimore County man was in the 2000 block of N. Monroe St. Monday afternoon when he was knocked to the pavement by a man who robbed him of $200 and a gold necklace valued at $100. The victim was taken to the Liberty Medical Center for treatment of a minor injury.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Property valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from a house in the 900 block of Bayard St. between Saturday and Monday.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- An air-conditioner valued at $300 was stolen from a house in the 3200 block of Southland Ave. between Saturday and Monday by someone who entered through a rear window.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Welding equipment valued at more than $10,000 was stolen from Boss Group Inc. in the 1600 block of Wicomico St. between Sunday and Monday.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Two men, one with a knife, robbed a resident of the 600 block of N. Longwood St. in the 600 block of Poplar Grove St. of $5 Monday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered Potts & Callahan in the 2800 block of Falls Road between Saturday and Monday through a side door. It was not immediately known what, if any, property was taken.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 1200 block of Wildwood Parkway was in the first block of W. 26th St. Monday when two men robbed her of her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $150.

THEFT: Northern District -- Property valued at $50 was stolen from a car parked in the 2900 block of St. Paul St. between Sunday and Monday by someone who entered after breaking a window.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a van owned by the Eagle Messenger Service in the 400 block of E. 25th St. while it was parked near the company between Friday and Monday and stole a spare tire and a hand truck, all valued at nearly $100.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone entered a storage shed in the 900 block of Dulaney Valley Road Monday and stole two lawn trimmers and a leaf blower, all valued at $900.

BOAT THEFT: Cockeysville District -- A 1976 Gypsy-brand outboard motorboat valued at $2,000 was stolen from the driveway of a house in the 10000 block of Greenside Drive between Aug. 6 and Monday. The boat had Pennsylvania registration number 1008AE.

STOLEN CAR: White Marsh District -- A 1986 Buick LeSabre with Maryland tags NPCD351 and valued at $10,000, was stolen from the 2000 block of Wilhelm Ave. between Sunday and Monday.

BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Someone entered the office at Poly Source Mid-Atlantic Inc. in the 8900 block of Yellow Brick Road through a door between Aug. 6 and Monday and stole $120 and seven blank checks.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: White Marsh District -- Construction equipment and several road warning signs at the intersection of Jerusalem Road and the Gunpowder River were destroyed or damaged over the weekend by vandals. Police said a road closing sign was destroyed and parts of several pieces of earth moving equipment were also damaged.

BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Two leaf blowers valued at $250 were stolen from a storage shed in the 4200 block of Kolb Ave. between Sunday and Monday.


THEFT: Fallston -- Someone entered the trunk of a car parked in the 2200 block of Larchmont Drive between Sunday and Monday and stole three briefcases, $800, a calculator and other property. Later, police recovered the three briefcases.
