Baltimore City

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 4900 block of Williston St. through a rear window Monday and stole two handguns and stereo equipment, all valued at more than $1,000.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 600 block of N. Augusta Ave. was in the 3900 block of Edmondson Ave. Monday night when three men assaulted him and robbed him of $16.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A man robbed the Signet Bank in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. of an undisclosed sum Tuesday after giving a teller a note that read, "Give me $5,000 or everyone dies." The man did not display a weapon.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 1600 block of Delano Court was in the 1300 block of N. Gilmor St. late Sunday night when he was attacked by a man who struck him in the face and robbed him of $30. The victim was treated at Maryland General Hospital for a minor injury and released.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who forced his way into a house in the 1000 block of N. Carrollton Ave. late Sunday night and struck the female occupant with a baseball bat. The victim was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Three men, one with a handgun, forced a resident of the 1300 block of Harlem Ave. into her car in the 200 block of N. Carrollton Ave. Monday morning and robbed her of $56 before letting her go.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered the garage at the C & C auto center in the 2200 block of Reisterstown Road over the weekend and stole at least $5,000 worth of mechanic tools.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who struck a resident of the 600 block of N. Fremont Ave. with a hammer during an incident at the victim's home Sunday.

ASSAULT: Western District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Forest Park Ave. was injured Monday night when she was pushed from a car in the 600 block of N. Monroe St. and dragged for several feet before falling to the pavement. Police were seeking a man known to the victim.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a woman and were seeking two men in connection with the armed robbery and shooting of a resident of the 1600 block of Thomas Ave. in the 2400 block of Baker St. Monday morning. The victim was robbed of his 1990 Nissan after one of the men shot him in the right leg. The victim was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center . The woman was being held at the Women's Detention Center at the Central Police station pending charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A man with an unknown weapon robbed a resident of the 1500 block of Aisquith St. of $10 in the first block of N. Carrollton Ave. Sunday.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A gunman robbed the Fulton Market in the 200 block of S. Fulton Ave. of more than $200 Sunday night.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 300 block of S. Calhoun St. was in the 1100 block of Hollins St. Monday afternoon when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of cash and property, all valued at $178.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men, one a resident of the 1400 block of Woodall St. and the other from the 200 block of Riverside Ave., were standing on the parking lot of the McDonald's outlet in the 800 block of E. Fort Ave. Monday afternoon when two men, one with a handgun, robbed them of two pagers valued at $300.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- A gunman wearing a purple, blue and white jogging outfit walked up to the drive-through window of the Burger King in the 5600 block Baltimore National Pike about midnight Monday and ordered an employee to give him money from the cash register. The employee complied, and the gunman escaped with an undiscosed sum. He was last seen running toward the nearby International House of Pancakes.

HARFORD COUNTY

ASSAULT/ARREST: Edgewood -- A 53-year-old Baltimore man was released on $10,000 bail Monday from the county detention center after being charged with attempting to murder his wife when he allegedly attempted to set her afire in her home in the 300 block of Palmetto Drive Sunday night. Charged with attempted murder and one count of violating a District Court judge's order to stay away from his wife was Robert Joseph Mintzer, whose Baltimore address was not available. The man reportedly entered his wife's house late Sunday night and threw gasoline on her before holding a lighted match near her head and threatening to set her afire. While holding the woman in a headlock, the match went out. The woman's son, along with a neighbor who arrived moments earlier, subdued Mr. Mintzer and held him for police. The son and his mother were taken to Harford Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries and released.
