Through Sept. 26: Chesapeake Changes, a natural history exhibit that focuses on the geology, geography, wildlife and lTC human settlement in the 64,000-square-mile watershed of the bay, Explorers Hall of the National Geographic Society, 17th and streets NW, Washington.

Aug. 14-15: Call of the Wild Sportsman's Hunting and Fishing Benefit Show, Frederick Fairgrounds, Interstate 70, Exit 56, Frederick. Seminars each day on fishing, hunting and trick archery. Exhibits by guide services, retailers, craftsmen and artists, boat and truck dealers. Admission is $5 for adults, children under 16 free with an adult. Call (301) 831-9586.

Thursday: Department of Natural Resources public hearing to discuss proposed Spanish mackerel limits, 6 p.m., Department of Agriculture headquarters building, Annapolis. The proposed regulation would establish a minimum length of 14 inches and a creel limit of 10 per day. Written comment may be sent to R.S. Early, Fisheries Division, Tawes State Office Building, 580 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, Md. 21401.

HUNTING/SHOOTING
