CARJACKINGS/SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking two men who stole two vehicles in separate incidents Sunday and shot one of the victims. At 11:15 p.m. Sunday, a resident of the 1000 block of Ashburton St. was in the 3000 block of W. Belvedere Ave. when two men stopped him at gunpoint and forced him to drive to Howard County. There, the victim escaped when the gunman's weapon failed to fire when he attempted to shoot him. Shortly after 2 a.m. Monday, the carjackers were driving the first victim's car in the 3000 block of N. Hilton St. when they deliberately struck the rear of a 1992 Chevrolet Blazer. When the driver, a resident of the 6700 block of Alter St., got out to inspect the damage, one of the men shot him in the back before both men drove off in the Blazer. The second victim was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment.

RAPE: Northwestern District -- A city resident was raped Monday afternoon at an unknown location in Baltimore County. After giving the assailant a ride to the 4500 block of W. Northern Parkway, the man ordered the woman to drive him to the county, where he raped her at gunpoint. Following the rape, the man drove the woman to the 6500 block of Eberle Drive in the city and escaped on foot. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment and released.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 3000 block of Arunah Ave. was in the 500 block of Brice St. Sunday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $100.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a female resident of the 1900 block of W. Fairmount Ave. and a male resident of the 1800 of Penrose Ave. of nearly $100 in the 100 block of N. Fulton Ave. Sunday night.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 800 block of N. Fremont Ave. was in the 600 block of N. Fremont Ave. Monday when she was robbed of her purse containing more than $100 by a man who pressed a hard object into her side. The woman was not injured.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a garage in the rear of the Club Climax in the 2400 block of W. Baltimore St. Sunday or Monday and stole several bottles of snowball flavors and snowball supplies, all valued at nearly $80.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Two VCRs, a TV and a computer game were stolen from a house in the 1600 block of Presbury St. between July 30 and Monday by someone who entered through a rear door.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Snowball flavorings, spoons and other supplies were stolen from a house in the 900 block of N. Gilmor St. Monday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Lauretta Ave. was in the 1300 block of N. Mount St. Monday afternoon when he dropped $20 on the pavement. Before he could retrieve the money, a man struck him with his fist, picked up the money and fled.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered an apartment above Maria's restaurant and carryout in the 5500 block of York Road Sunday or Monday and stole property of unknown value.

THEFT: Northern District -- After a resident of the 800 block of Argonne Drive fell asleep Sunday night, a woman staying with him stole his VCR.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered the back yard of a house in the 2900 block of Manhattan Ave. over the weekend and stole a bike valued at $100.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 600 block of E. 31st St. through a window between Friday and Sunday and stole property valued at $200.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1986 Buick with Maryland license plates JHU1244 was stolen from the 5700 block of Oakshire Road Sunday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered the offices of Ray Watson Inc. in the 3100 block of Fallscliff Road through a side window between Friday and Monday and stole an undisclosed sum.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1992 Jeep with Virginia license plates LQK742 was stolen from the first block of W. 30th St. Sunday or Monday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Clothing of unknown value was stolen from Blackstone's men's wear in the 3200 block of Greenmount Ave. Sunday or Monday by someone who entered through a hole in the roof.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Four VCR tapes were stolen from an apartment in the 4100 block of St. George's Ave. over the weekend by someone who entered through the front door.

ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 1800 block of Wicklow Road was in the 400 block of Mount Holly St. Sunday when a woman he knows cut him with a knife. The woman escaped and the victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment and listed in good condition.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1300 block of Wildwood Parkway Monday morning and was standing naked next to the occupant's bed when she awoke and cried out. The man fled.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 2100 block of Garrison Boulevard of $40 in the 2000 block of Denison St. Monday night.
