HCC professor chosen to read, score AP exams

Dr. Grace E. Collins, associate professor of English at Howard Community College, was selected to participate in the annual reading and scoring of Advanced Placement Examinations in English held in June in San Antonio, Texas.

The AP Program, sponsored by the College Board, gives high school students the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses. Based on their examination performance, students then receive credit or advanced placement when entering college.
