Arthur F. Wagner Retired carpenter

Arthur F. Wagner, a retired carpenter and Millersville farmer, died Thursday of a heart attack at North Arundel Hospital. He was 74.

Mr. Wagner retired from E. Black and Sons in 1981 after more than 10 years with the company.

Known to relatives and friends as Pop, Mr. Wagner was a native of Maryland who spent the past 46 years in Millersville.

In 1943, he and Bertha Jean Buenger were married. Mrs. Wagner died in 1982.

Services were to be held at 10 a.m. today at Severn Pentecostal Church in Severn.

Mr. Wagner is survived by two sons, John A. Wagner of Hanover, Pa., and Steve M. Wagner of Millersville; three daughters, Susan Johnson, Barbara Chamberlain and Sarah Brophy, all of Millersville; a sister, Jenny Hartman of Edgewater; and 11 grandchildren.
