Through Sept. 26: Chesapeake Changes, a natural history exhibit that focuses on the geology, geography, wildlife and human settlement in the 64,000-square-mile watershed of the bay, Explorers Hall of the National Geographic Society, 17 and M streets NW, Washington, D.C.

Aug. 14-15: Call of the Wild Sportsman's Hunting and Fishing Benefit Show, Frederick Fairgrounds, I-70, Exit 56, Frederick. Seminars each day on fishing, hunting and trick archery. Exhibits by guide services, retailers, craftsmen and artists, boat and truck dealers, etc. Admission is $5 for adults, with children under 16 admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Aug. 12: Department of Natural Resources public hearing to discuss proposed Spanish mackerel limits, 6 p.m., Department of Agriculture headquarters building, Annapolis. The proposed regulation would establish a minimum length of 14 inches and a creel limit of 10 per day. Written comment may be sent to R. S.
