BALTIMORE CITY

* PURSE SNATCH: Southern District -- A resident of the 1100 block of Hollins St. was walking near her home Tuesday night when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $11.

* ROBBERY: Southern District -- Four men, one with a handgun, robbed the Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant in the 1000 block of W. Patapsco Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money Wednesday night.

* ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men with handguns robbed the Central Restaurant in the 900 block of E. Patapsco Ave. of more than $200 around 5 a.m. Wednesday. The men also robbed a customer, a member of the city fire department, of his wallet, badge and identification card.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered Mac's Graphics in the 900 block of W. Baltimore St. Wednesday and stole a typewriter valued at nearly $90.

* ASSAULT: Northern District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Seamon Ave. in Cherry Hill was in the 400 block of Whitridge Ave. Wednesday afternoon when he was attacked by a man who struck him with a baseball bat.

* SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 6700 block of Brockmount Drive was in the 3000 block of W. North Ave. Wednesday morning when a man shot her. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 900 block of Pine Heights Ave. through a door Wednesday and stole $500.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Clothing valued at nearly $40 was stolen from a house in the 700 block of Wicklow Road Wednesday by someone who entered through a door.

* ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking two men who stopped a resident of the 1700 block of Letitia Ave. while he was driving in the 400 block of Yale Ave. Wednesday and struck him in the face. When the victim drove away, one of the men fired a shot, shattering one of the car's windows.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Southwestern District -- Police arrested a man as he drove a car off the lot of Doug and Mikes auto sales in the 4100 block of Brunswick St. Tuesday. The man entered the office and stole a set of keys that fit the car. He was being held at the station pending charges.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered MSC International Supplies in the 3000 block of Washington Blvd. Wednesday and stole property valued at $20. Police were seeking a suspect in connection with the burglary.

* BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Property of unknown value was stolen from a house in the 2900 block of Kingsley St. Wednesday by someone who removed a section of screen from a window.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* THEFT/ARRESTS: Parkville District -- Police arrested two teen-age boys around 3 a.m. Wednesday after the theft of $500 worth of stereo equipment from a Ford pickup truck parked in the 3100 block of Parktowne Drive. After being charged in the theft, the youths were released into the custody of their parents. The property was recovered.

* BURGLARY: Parkville District -- A man used a pass key to enter an apartment in the first block of Newhall Court around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. After entering, the man encountered the occupant and left after telling the occupant he had the wrong address. The man was seen driving away in a green over white van with a ladder attached to the rear.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Someone entered R.L. Cooke & Associates in the 2300 block of York Road through the front door between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole a cam-corder and two computers, all valued at nearly $6,000.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- A 20-inch multi-speed bike valued at more than $800 was stolen from a house in the 300 block of Seminary Ave. through an unlocked door Tuesday or Wednesday.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Someone entered a snowball stand in the 3000 block of Mount Carmel Road Tuesday Wednesday and stole $5 in coins.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- A snowball machine, several bottles of flavoring and a radio, all valued at nearly $1,900, were stolen from a snowball stand in the 20100 block of York Road by someone who removed a hasp from a rear door Tuesday or Wednesday.
