POLICE LOG

* Elkridge: 6200 block of Old Washington Road: Jewelry was stolen about 8 a.m. July 16. There were no signs of forced entry.

200 block of Keeton Road: Someone attempted to pry open a rear door between 3:30 a.m. and 7:50 a.m. Friday.

7400 block of Washington Blvd.: Someone forced their way into the hall of Trinity Episcopal Church between 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 p.m. Friday. Power tools and light fixtures were stolen.

* Ellicott City: 9100 block of Sybert Drive: Someone entered a 1992 Ford Aerostar between 9 p.m. July 13 and 8 a.m. July 14, and stole an $85 electric razor.

12100 block of Mount Albert Road: Someone attempted to destroy a mailbox by using a Molotov cocktail between 10 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday. The complainant said it was placed near the bottom of the mailbox post, causing it to burn.

12200 block of Carroll Mill Road: Someone burned a newspaper box between 8 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday.

9200 block of West Stayman Drive: Someone entered an opened garage door, and stole jewelry between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday.

4700 block of Hale Haven Drive: Someone kicked in a front door to a vacant home between 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Nothing was taken.

5100 block of Crystal Park Lane: Someone gained access through windows at a construction site between 10 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, and stole a sliding glass door.
