Suspects sought in armed robbery at Pepperoni Post

County police are looking for two men who robbed a Brooklyn Park pizzeria late Saturday night.

The two men entered the Pepperoni Post restaurant in the 5000 block of Ritchie Highway about 11:30 p.m. and ordered a pizza. After taking their order, the clerk, who was the only employee in the restaurant, turned his back on the men and they both approached him, one of them brandishing a handgun, police said.

The men ordered him to empty the cash register. The employee did so, and then was placed in a walk-in refrigerator. The suspects escaped with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

The first suspect is described as a black male, between the ages of 18 and 23, weighing between 155 and 165 pounds, with a round face and a pencil mustache. He was wearing a yellow and brown paisley shirt, green shorts and a black baseball cap, and was armed.

The second suspect was described as a black male, 18 to 23 years old, 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighing between 135 and 145 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt with print shorts and a blue baseball cap. Both were last seen heading north on Ritchie Highway.

Man charged in robbery at Linthicum gas station

A Baltimore County man was charged with robbery yesterday after allegedly holding up a Linthicum gas station.

Stephen Douglas Kemp, 36, of the 300 block of Wise Well Court in Riverview, near Halethorpe, was being held last night at the Northern District police station awaiting a hearing.

Police said a man entered Shell Gas Station in the 700 block of Nursery Road about 12:30 p.m. and demanded money from the attendant, who handed over an unknown amount of cash. Witnesses saw the suspect flee on foot toward a Motel 6 on Raynor Avenue. County police surrounded the motel and conducted a room-by-room search of the third floor. The suspect was located in a room and positively identified by the gas station attendant, police said.
