POLICE LOG

* Elkridge: 6700 block of Route 1: A clerk at Hall's Motel went outside to approach some suspicious subjects, only to return and find that cash had been stolen from the office. The suspects are two 6-foot males, one with blond hair and the other with brown hair, police said.

* Ellicott City: 3500 block of Mount Ida Drive: A basement window of a residence was broken, but no entry was gained between last Saturday and Wednesday.

8600 block of Baltimore National Pike: A black 1991 Honda Accord with Maryland tags 314APN was stolen from the Odonnell Honda lot between Tuesday and Wednesday morning. The car had been left there for service, police said.

9000 block of Town and Country Blvd.: A radar detector and cassette tapes were taken from a blue Chevrolet. The stolen property was valued at about $500, police said.

5300 block of Briar Oak Court: Someone stole 12 flowering plants worth $120 from a Ryland model home Monday night or Tuesday morning.

4600 block of Stallion Court: A teal 1990 Chevy Beretta with Maryland tags YBB441 was stolen some time late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
