Suns hold off Generals, 12-11

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- Reliever Lee Daniels gave up two runs before halting an eight-run rally in the eighth by the Fayetteville Generals as the Hagerstown Suns won, 12-11, in a Single-A South Atlantic League game last night.

Daniels went on to earn his eighth save and make a winner of starter Brad Cornett (7-5). Hagerstown took a 12-1 lead in a five-run seventh.
