Baltimore City

ROBBERIES: Central District -- Two robbers held up two men in separate incidents in Bolton Hill early Friday. About 1:40 a.m., a 34-year-old resident of the 1500 block of Mount Royal Ave. was in the 100 block of McMechen St. when he was robbed of his portable radio, valued at $20, by two men, one with a semiautomatic handgun. After taking the man's radio, the gunman's accomplice yelled out, "Shoot him." When the victim turned to run, the gunman fired a shot, missing the man. Less than 20 minutes earlier, a 22-year-old Annapolis man was walking in the 1300 block of Park Ave. when two men, who police said fit the description of the pair who committed the first robbery, robbed him of $4 at gunpoint.

THEFT: Southern District -- Someone entered the back yard of a house in the 800 block of Williams St. Wednesday or Thursday and stole two mountain bikes after cutting a security chain. The bikes were valued at nearly $900.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- A resident of the 400 block of S. Calhoun St. was standing at the intersection of Hollins and S. Calhoun streets Thursday afternoon when a woman got out of a car that stopped nearby and attempted to steal her purse. During a struggle, the victim was assaulted by the woman who stole her purse and escaped in the car, which was driven by another person. The purse contained cash and property, all valued at $80.

ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a woman who cut a resident of the 2000 block of Eutaw Place with a broken bottle during an incident in the 1200 block of W. North Ave. Thursday. A man was cut on the left arm and neck and was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment and released.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 2400 block of Druid Hill Ave. Wednesday and stole a camcorder

valued at nearly $1,000. Police were seeking a female in connection with the theft.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Gelston Drive was in the 2300 block of Winchester St. Thursday evening when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of nearly $450.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1500 block of Riggs Ave. Thursday through a rear door and stole property valued at more than $150.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 2800 block of Diamond Ridge Road in western Baltimore County was in the 200 block of N. Fulton Ave. Thursday night when a man robbed her of jewelry valued at nearly $700.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a man who attacked a resident of the 300 block of Ilchester Ave. in the 2700 block of Greenmount Ave. Thursday and robbed her of $15. The man was being held at the station pending charges and a bail hearing.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- A 19-year-old resident of the 3100 block of Keswick Road was driving by a friend's home in the 2300 block of Sisson St. Thursday morning when he saw several men standing around his friend's motorcycle and acting suspicious. When the motorist stopped and got out of his car, one of the men fired a shot, missing him.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 2500 block of N. Calvert St. was awaken by a noise early Thursday morning. Later, the woman discovered that someone tried to enter her house by cutting a section of screen from her bedroom window.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- An elderly couple from the first block of E. 32nd St. was in the 3200 block of Hargrove St. Thursday when two men knocked them to the pavement and stole cash and property, all of unknown value.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone entered a storage trailer in the rear of the Kmart store at the North Plaza Mall in the 8900 block of Waltham Woods Road early Thursday and stole foot lockers valued at $400. Police said at least one man was seen driving off in a 1983 Chevrolet with Maryland license plates NCP729. Police said the license plates had been stolen earlier.

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Property valued at nearly $5,000 was stolen from a house in the 7800 block of Shepherd Ave. Wednesday or Thursday by someone who entered through the front window. Taken were several pieces of jewelry, a TV, VCR and cash.
