American League -- Upheld the three-game suspensions of Seattle Mariners C Bill Haselman and C-OF Mackey Sasser for their parts in the June 6 brawl at Camden Yards. Haselman's suspension will begin today, Sasser's Tuesday.

California Angels -- Named Bert Blyleven roving pitching instructor.

Chicago White Sox -- Agreed to terms with P Scott Christman, their first-round draft pick.

Cleveland Indians -- Sent P Dennis Cook to Triple-A Charlotte. Activated P Tommy Kramer from the 15-day DL.

Milwaukee Brewers -- Single-A Beloit released P Cam Aronetz and placed OF Danny Perez and P Al Sadler on the DL.

Seattle Mariners -- Sent OF Marc Newfield to Double-A Jacksonville. Recalled OF Lee Tinsley from Triple-A Calgary. Activated 3B Edgar Martinez from the 15-day DL. Gave 1B Pete O'Brien his unconditional release.
