Drug store robbery suspect arrested
County police have arrested a Baltimore man they said robbed a Linthicum pharmacy with two other men Tuesday evening.
According to the police report, two men walked into Ted's Pharmacy in the 400 block of Hammonds Ferry Road at 6 p.m. One of the men put a gun to the clerk's head and another reached into the cash register and took money out.
The men ran out of the store and into a waiting car driven by a third man. The clerk called police and gave officers a description of the car.
A short time later, police spotted the car on Annapolis Road near Nursery Road. The driver of the car stopped at the Light Rail station. All three got out of the car and ran.
Police arrested Jeffrey Eric Hamm, 29, of the 2100 block of Sidney Avenue. He was charged with armed robbery and use of a handgun while committing a felony
Police said the car used in the robbery -- a 1984 dark red Buick Regal -- was stolen during a carjacking Monday in Baltimore.
The other two suspects are still at large, police said.
