Baltimore City

BURGLARY: Western District -- Two men entered a house in the 2300 block of Reisterstown Road Thursday and stole property valued at more than $600.

THEFT: Western District -- Property valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from a house in the 2400 block of W. Lanvale St. Wednesday or Thursday.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 600 block of N. Gilmor St. Thursday morning and stole $300.

BURGLARY: Southern District -- An air conditioner and VCR, all valued at nearly $450, were stolen from a house in the 2200 block of Norfolk St. Thursday.

THEFT: Southern District -- Four wheel hub covers, all valued at $100, were stolen from a 1984 Chevrolet Blazer that was parked in the 2500 block of Wegworth Lane Thursday.

THEFT: Southern District -- A VCR, TV and a CB radio, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen from a house in the 2500 block of Sidney Ave. Thursday ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3500 block of Fairview Ave. was in the 4100 block of Wabash Ave. Thursday night when two men robbed him of $75.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Northwestern District -- Police arrested a man and were holding him at the station pending charges that he struck a resident of the 3800 block of Rolling Road with a fire extinguisher during an argument in the 3700 block of Greenspring Ave. Thursday night.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Tools valued at $300 were stolen from a garage in the 5700 block of Jonquil Ave. Wednesday or Thursday. A lock was cut.

THEFT: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 4100 block of Reisterstown Road Thursday and stole $250.

SHOOTING: Northern District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Park Heights Ave. was in the 2600 block of Loyola Southway Thursday when a man shot him in the left knee. The gunman escaped, and the victim was taken to Sinai Hospital. Police said they know of no motive for the shooting.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Northern District -- A resident of the 2500 block of W. Cold Spring Lane was struck in the head with a crowbar during an incident with another man Thursday near his home. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital, and police arrested a suspect in the case.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A man who kept one hand covered in a paper bag as though armed robbed the Dark Room in the 2300 block of N. Charles St. of more than $100 Thursday afternoon.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 10-year-old resident of the 3700 block of Beech Ave. was riding his 21-speed bike in the 3900 block of Beech Ave. Thursday evening when he was pushed to the pavement by an older youth who stole the bike, valued at more than $250.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A China cabinet and couch, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen from a house in the 2700 block of N. Howard St. Wednesday or Thursday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 9-year-old resident of the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle North was riding his 21-inch bike near his home Thursday when an older youth knocked him to the ground and stole the bike, valued at more than $100.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- Two unarmed teen-agers robbed a Woodlawn-area woman of an undisclosed sum as she was about to place the money in the night deposit vault at the Nations Bank branch in the 8600 block of Liberty Road Thursday.

BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone entered a house in the 100 block of Charlesbrooke Road through a front window Thursday afternoon and stole silverware and other property, all valued at several thousand dollars.

BURGLARY: Towson District -- More than $1,000 was stolen by someone who entered the Horn & Horn cafeteria in the 1000 block of Taylor Ave. Thursday.

BURGLARY: Towson District -- Someone entered the offices of Bradley & Herbert Opticians in the 7500 block of Osler Drive Thursday night and stole more than $2,000 in cash and checks.

ARSON: Towson District -- Someone set fire to the front door of an apartment in the 200 block of Rodgers Forge Road Thursday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
