5 charged in raid on house in Cape St. Claire

County police say they arrested five people and seized $3,000 worth of cocaine Wednesday during a raid on a house on the Broadneck Peninsula.

Dale Dickerson, 25, of the 1100 block of Cove Road, Annapolis, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute cocaine after the 11:15 p.m. raid at the house in the 1400 block of Middletown Road in Cape St. Claire.

Henry Upchurch, 37, who lives in the house, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on a theft charge.

Royal Jacob Adams, 27, who also lives in the house, was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of cocaine.

Troy Darnell Redding, 26, who lives in the home, was charged with distribution and possession of cocaine.

A teen-ager in the house was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

According to the police report, the raid was planned after undercover officers say they bought cocaine inside the house.


* Capetowne: Burglars stole stereo equipment and other property valued at $1,540 from a home in the 600 block of Broad Neck Road between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday.
