* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 5000 block of Lodestone Way was attacked in his home Wednesday night by a man who struck him with a brass statue and then placed the muzzle of a handgun in his mouth. Before fleeing, the gunman robbed the victim of $13.

* SHOOTING: Eastern District -- A 27-year-old resident of the 1600 block of E. North Ave. is listed in serious but stable condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after he was shot in the back Wednesday night in the 1700 block of N. Chapel St. The victim was sitting on the front steps of a house about 11:50 p.m. when he saw the gunman exiting an alley. When the victim got up and was attempting to flee, the gunman fired two shots from a revolver, hitting the victim in the lower back. No arrest had been made and police believe the shooting was drug related.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- Police were seeking three teen-age boys who assaulted a resident of the 2000 block of Hollins St. with sticks and their fists in the 600 block of N. Gilmor St. Wednesday and robbed him of $50.

* ASSAULT: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 200 block of Mason Court was in the first block of Albemarle St. Wednesday when he was attacked by two men who struck him in the face with a broken bottle, causing an injury to an eye.

* SHOOTING: Southeastern District -- A resident of New York is listed in critical condition at the Francis Scott Key Medical Center after a man shot him in the head with a shotgun during an incident in the 6300 block of Fortview Way Tuesday night. Police were seeking a second New York man in connection with the shooting.

* BURGLARY/ARREST: Southwestern District -- Police responding to a burglar alarm at Morton's Upholstering in the 100 block of N. Warwick Ave. Wednesday arrested a man. Charges against the man, who refused to identify himself, were pending.

* SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3000 block of Oakley Ave. was arguing with another man over some property in the 4900 block of Palmer Ave. Wednesday when he was shot in the right leg. The victim refused medical treatment at the scene. The gunman, who is known to the victim, escaped.

* SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a gunman who shot a resident of the 4500 block of Westchester Road in the back as he walked in the 3000 block of Lawina Ave. Wednesday. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment and is listed in serious condition.

* CAB HOLDUP: Northwestern District -- A Royal cab driver was robbed of more than $100 by a gunman in the 4000 block of Reisterstown Road Wednesday afternoon.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 700 block of Cliffedge Road was in the 7000 block of Park Heights Ave. Wednesday when a man with a straight razor robbed him of his wallet containing an undisclosed sum of money.

* CHURCH BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered the First Church of the Brethern in the 4500 block of

Liberty Heights Ave. Wednesday and stole property valued at more than $300.

* SHOOTING: Northern District -- A 17-year-old resident of the 5100 block of Kenilworth Ave. was riding his bike in the 800 block of E. 43rd St. Wednesday afternoon when a gunman shot him in the right side. The gunman escaped, and the victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he is listed in critical condition.


* BANK ROBBERY: Cockeysville District -- An unarmed man robbed the Maryland National Bank in the first block of Cranbrook Road Wednesday afternoon and escaped with an undisclosed sum of money. When a teller refused the man's order to give him money, he reached over the counter, opened a cash drawer and removed the money.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville District -- Computer equipment valued at $7,600 was stolen from Albany Association Inc. in the 10600 block of Beaver Dam Road between Tuesday and Wednesday.

* STOLEN CAR: Towson District -- A 1989 Dodge Caravan with Maryland license plates 176113M was stolen from the 6400 block of Cloister Gate Drive Wednesday afternoon.

* STOLEN CAR: Towson District -- Someone stole a 1986 Volkswagen with New York license plates P7V411 from the Southerly Road near Locustvale Road between Tuesday and Wednesday.
