ROBBERY: Western District -- A gunman entered a home in the 900 block of N. Carey St. Tuesday and robbed the occupant of a rifle and $30.

SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 1700 block of McKean Ave. was standing outside her home Tuesday night when an occupant of a passing white car fired a shot that struck her in the stomach. The car sped off. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment. A few minutes later, two men standing outside a car that matched the description of the one involved in the shooting of the woman fired a shot at a teen-age resident of the 1700 block of McKean Ave. not far from the scene of the shooting. The gunman missed and the men drove away.

CUTTING/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a woman Wednesday and were holding her pending charges that she cut a woman's neck during an argument near the victim's home in the 600 block of Claymont Ave.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of Kavanagh St. Tuesday night and stole stereo equipment, a 19-inch TV, and several pieces of clothing, all valued at nearly $1,300.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Western District -- A resident of the 2500 block of W. Fairmount Ave. was in the 2300 block of W. Baltimore St. Wednesday when a gunman robbed her of a pack of cigarettes and $4. Later, police arrested Malcolm Barton, 28, of the 2300 block of W. Baltimore St., and charged him with armed robbery. The suspect is being held at the police station in lieu of $75,000 bail pending a bail review hearing at the Wabash Avenue District Court.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 1900 block of Angelsea St. between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole stereo speakers valued at $500.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A video-game set and several cartridges, all valued at nearly $150, were stolen from a house in the 1200 block of Rayleigh Way Tuesday night. Police were seeking a man known by the occupant in connection with the theft.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A boom-box radio valued at $300 was stolen from a house in the 100 block of S. Broadway Tuesday by someone who entered through a living room window.

STABBING: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 400 block of S. Patterson Park Ave. was stabbed in the right arm with a fork during an incident at his home Wednesday. The victim was treated at Church Hospital. No arrest has been made.

THEFT: Southern District -- A resident of the 3600 block of Sixth St. in Brooklyn was using the telephone at a bar in the 3700 block of S. Hanover St. around 10 p.m. Wednesday when someone stole $25 from her purse which she left on the bar.

ABDUCTION/ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking two men who abducted a deliveryman for the Pizza Hut in the 6100 block of Frederick Road from the 5300 block of Frederick Road at gunpoint Tuesday night and drove him to the corner of Edmondson and Payson avenues, where they robbed him of more than $100 before pushing him from the vehicle.

ROBBERY TRY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 400 block of S. Caton Ave. was walking near his home Tuesday night when he was stopped by a man who demanded his money. When the victim told the man he had no money, the man walked away.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1000 block of Wildwood Parkway Wednesday through a dining room window and stole a television and two stereo speakers, all valued at nearly $240.

CHURCH BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Four cassette recorders and tapes, all valued at more than $600, were stolen from the Beechfield United Methodist Church in the 500 block of S. Beechfield Ave. between Monday and Tuesday.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- Someone entered a house under construction in the first block of Symphony Woods Court between Tuesday and Wednesday and stole an electric range and a dish washer. The appliances were valued at $600.

BURGLARY: Parkville District -- More than $200 was stolen from a house in the 2800 block of Onyx Road Wednesday.
