ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- A gunman robbed the Subway sandwich shop in the first block of E. North Ave. at 2:30 a.m. yesterday. Police said the gunman held a towel over a small black gun and handed the clerk a note demanding cash.

SHOOTING: Central District -- Three young men in a Ford Bronco exchanged gunfire with three other men who were standing in the 400 block of E. Fayette St. at 4 a.m. yesterday. After the shooting, the trio in the vehicle drove away. An officer who witnessed the shooting stopped the vehicle and arrested three suspects -- all in their late teens. They were charged with assault with intent to murder, police said.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Burglars broke into a home in the 2200 block of Callow Ave. between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday. Police did not know what was taken.

STOLEN AUTO: Northern District -- A 1986 Dodge Colt with New Jersey license plates BB 320L was stolen from the 2900 block of Cresmont Ave. between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:45 a.m. yesterday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 17-year-old girl was robbed of $70 by a man as she walked in the 500 block of Chateau Ave. about 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Western District -- Two young men, one armed with a gun, robbed the McDonald's restaurant in the 2500 block of W. Franklin St. at 1:05 a.m. Saturday. According to police, the men drove up to the drive-through window of the restaurant and saw the manager counting money. They pointed the gun at the manager and climbed in the window, taking money from the manager and three employees inside the restaurant as well as from the registers. One of the employees recognized one of the robbers as someone he knew and police arrested two suspects a short time later. The men, in their late teens, were charged with armed robbery.

ARMED ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men robbed Kimmy's Place, a deli in the 200 block of N. Monroe St., at 1:18 a.m. Saturday. Police said two men, one armed with a gun, walked into the deli and demanded cash.

Western District -- Thieves took a radar detector and a television set from a pickup truck parked in the first block of Wheeler Ave. between 11 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. yesterday. The value of the property was not known.

SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- A man was shot in the hand during an argument with another man in the 2300 block of Northern Parkway at 12:15 a.m. yesterday.
