Four-run seventh lifts Suns to 5-2 win

HAGERSTOWN -- The Hagerstown Suns scored four runs in the seventh inning to beat the Fayetteville Generals, 5-2, last night in a South Atlantic League Single-A game at Municipal Stadium.

With the score 1-1, the Suns (8-7) scored their runs on five hits in the seventh. Mariano Dotel's triple scored Keith Hines for the go-ahead run, and Luis Herrera's sacrifice fly scored Dotel.

Brad Cornett (6-4) pitched 7 2/3 innings for the Suns to get the win. Ken Robinson picked up his third save of the season.

Blas Cedeno (2-5) took the loss for Fayetteville (8-7).

Tonight's game at 7:05 will conclude the teams' four-game series.
