Orioles Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson, who played on 12 Orioles teams that won 90 or more games and whose teams were more than 400 games over .500, carries a surprising distinction in All-Star Game competition. Robinson has played on more losing All-Star teams than any player in major-league history -- a total of 15, including eight straight from 1963 to 1970. Robinson played in a total of 18 All-Star games and was on two winners (1962 and 1971); one game ended in a tie (1961, second game).
